The number of active Social related job postings in the North America region driven by Social decreased by 7.07% MoM, and decreased by 31.23% since October 2023, reaching 280,127 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 103,813 new Social related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 0.8% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 125,126 Social related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 12.9% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 27.51% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 18.92%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Social related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 10.17%, the number of active Social related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 11.73% and the number of Social related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 6.75%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 121,545, number of jobs closed stood at 156,126 and number of active jobs stood at 332,750.
