In the LTM period, June 2022 turned out to be the most prolific in terms of deal size, with a total deal value of $403.1 million, resulting in an average deal value of $80.6 million during that month. On the other hand, the month of May 2022 was the most prolific in terms of deal volume, recording a total of 14 deals, resulting in an average deal value of $9.0 million during that month.
Of the 87 deals, the deal secured between SoftBank Vision Fund II and Eobuwie.pl S.A., was the largest Private Equity/Venture Financing deal in the Poland, which was valued at $130.0 million and was completed on July 5, 2021. The second-largest deal was between Waterland Private Equity Investments B.V. and PGS Software SA, while the third-largest deal was between Balderton Capital (UK) LLP; Firstminute Capital I LP; Francesco Simoneschi; Galaxy Digital Partners LLC; NFX Ventures; Seedcamp Investment Management LLP; Taavet Hinrikus and Ramp Network sp. z o.o.. The Waterland Private Equity Investments B.V.-PGS Software SA deal and the Balderton Capital (UK) LLP; Firstminute Capital I LP; Francesco Simoneschi; Galaxy Digital Partners LLC; NFX Ventures; Seedcamp Investment Management LLP; Taavet Hinrikus-Ramp Network sp. z o.o. deal were valued at $116.2 million and $52.7 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Polish Enterprise Fund VIII-Ekoenergetyka-Polska Sp zoo valued at $51.6 million, whereas the deal between European Investment Bank; FJ Labs; Infravia Growth Capital; Market One Capital; PortfoLion; PROfounders Capital Partners LLP; SpeedInvest Gmbh; White Star Capital LP-Packhelp sp. z o.o. valued at $45.6 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $396.0 million and accounted for nearly 32.26% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months.
