The number of active ESG related job postings in Qatar driven by ESG decreased by 20.56% MoM, and decreased by 18.16% since October 2023, reaching 568 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 264 new ESG related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 34.98% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 411 ESG related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 18.77% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted decreased by 32.48% and the number of ESG related jobs closed increased by 25.3%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 12.27%, the number of active ESG related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.46% and the number of ESG related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 7.81%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of ESG related jobs posted stood at 385, the average number of ESG related jobs closed stood at 401 and the average number of active ESG related jobs stood at 698.
