The number of active job postings in Qatar decreased by 13.64% MoM, and decreased by 14.58% since October 2023, reaching 2,356 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 906 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 10.47% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 1,278 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 6.86% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 29.55% and the number of jobs closed increased by 12.2%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 11.02%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.12% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 3.91%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 1,098, number of jobs closed stood at 1,162 and number of active jobs stood at 2,688.
