In the LTM period, September 2021 turned out to be the most prolific in terms of deal size, with a total deal value of $4,429.8 million, resulting in an average deal value of $100.7 million during that month. On the other hand, the month of March 2022 was the most prolific in terms of deal volume, recording a total of 51 deals, resulting in an average deal value of $37.9 million during that month.
Of the 512 deals, the deal secured between Blackstone Inc and Interplex Holdings Ltd., was the largest Private Equity/Venture Financing deal in the Singapore, which was valued at $1,600.0 million and was completed on January 19, 2022. The second-largest deal was between AustralianSuper Pty Ltd and Australia Tower Network Pty Ltd, while the third-largest deal was between Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company and Olam Agri Holdings Pte Ltd. The AustralianSuper Pty Ltd-Australia Tower Network Pty Ltd deal and the Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company-Olam Agri Holdings Pte Ltd deal were valued at $1,370.0 million and $1,240.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between GIC Pte Ltd; Insight Venture Management LLC; Smash Capital-Coda Payments Pte. Ltd. valued at $690.0 million, whereas the deal between Accel; Bertelsmann India Investments; Bertelsmann SE & Co KgaA; Canada Pension Plan Investment Board; Chan Zuckerberg Initiative LLC; DST Global; Leeds Illuminate; Prosus NV; Prosus Ventures; Sequoia Capital India; Sequoia India; SoftBank Vision Fund II; Tiger Global Management LLC-EMERITUS Institute of Management Pte. Ltd.; Eruditus Learning Solutions Pte., Ltd. valued at $650.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $5,550.0 million and accounted for nearly 25.71% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months.
