The number of active Connectivity related job postings in the South and Central America region driven by Connectivity decreased by 9.56% MoM, and increased by 40.92% since October 2023, reaching 861 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 289 new Connectivity related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 55.81% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 380 Connectivity related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 1.81% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 13.73% and the number of jobs closed increased by 44.49%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Connectivity related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 4.8%, the number of active Connectivity related job postings observed a growth rate of 12.11% and the number of Connectivity related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 13.05%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 445, number of jobs closed stood at 364 and number of active jobs stood at 777.
