The number of active Governance related job postings in the South and Central America region driven by Governance decreased by 7.87% MoM, and decreased by 9.47% since October 2023, reaching 1,253 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 546 new Governance related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 9.75% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 653 Governance related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 8.54% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 25.21% and the number of jobs closed increased by 8.47%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Governance related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 9.23%, the number of active Governance related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 3.26% and the number of Governance related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 2.75%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 659, number of jobs closed stood at 660 and number of active jobs stood at 1,366.
