The number of active Internet of Things related job postings in the South and Central America region driven by Internet of Things decreased by 10.34% MoM, and decreased by 13.95% since October 2023, reaching 364 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 113 new Internet of Things related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 8.65% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 155 Internet of Things related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 16.54% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 34.68% and the number of jobs closed increased by 2.65%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Internet of Things related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 13.24%, the number of active Internet of Things related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 4.88% and the number of Internet of Things related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 0.88%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 137, number of jobs closed stood at 146 and number of active jobs stood at 407.
