On the other hand, the month of June 2022 was the most prolific in terms of deal volume, recording a total of 8 deals, resulting in an average deal value of $8.6 million during that month.
Of the 51 deals, the deal secured between IMM Private Equity Inc; MBK Partners Ltd and MEGAZONE CLOUD Corp., was the largest Private Equity/Venture Financing deal in the South Korea, which was valued at $332.0 million and was completed on February 13, 2022. The second-largest deal was between Arc & Partners and Drama & Company Co., Ltd., while the third-largest deal was between Affirma Capital and Metanet Tplatform. The Arc & Partners-Drama & Company Co., Ltd. deal and the Affirma Capital-Metanet Tplatform deal were valued at $144.5 million and $100.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Stonebridge Capital-Cloocus Co Ltd valued at $84.0 million, whereas the deal between NHN Corp; SK E&S Co Ltd-Parking Cloud Co Ltd valued at $83.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $743.5 million and accounted for nearly 59.15% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months.
