The number of active Cloud related job postings in South Korea driven by Cloud decreased by 17.44% MoM, and decreased by 18.69% since October 2023, reaching 535 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 111 new Cloud related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 25% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 224 Cloud related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 53.42% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted decreased by 23.45% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed increased by 62.32%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 8.52%, the number of active Cloud related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.67% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 17.52%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cloud related jobs posted stood at 142, the average number of Cloud related jobs closed stood at 171 and the average number of active Cloud related jobs stood at 621.
