The second-largest deal was between Baillie Gifford & Co; BigPoint Holding AG; Carbon Removal; GIC Pte Ltd; Global Founders Capital Management GmbH; John Doerr; M&G PLC; Partners Group AG; Swiss Re Ltd and Climeworks AG, while the third-largest deal was between Advent International Corp; General Catalyst Partners LLC; Insight Partners; Permira Funds and SonarSource S.A.. The Baillie Gifford & Co; BigPoint Holding AG; Carbon Removal; GIC Pte Ltd; Global Founders Capital Management GmbH; John Doerr; M&G PLC; Partners Group AG; Swiss Re Ltd-Climeworks AG deal and the Advent International Corp; General Catalyst Partners LLC; Insight Partners; Permira Funds-SonarSource S.A. deal were valued at $647.7 million and $412.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between PPF Group NV-SOTIO Biotech AG valued at $317.1 million, whereas the deal between Sumeru Equity Partners, Inc.-Beqom SA valued at $300.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $3,676.8 million and accounted for nearly 43.18% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months.
