The number of active Internet of Things related job postings in Taiwan driven by Internet of Things increased by 7.6% MoM, and increased by 34.36% since October 2023, reaching 524 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 203 new Internet of Things related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 22.29% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 166 Internet of Things related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 102.44% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Internet of Things related jobs posted increased by 256.14% and the number of Internet of Things related jobs closed increased by 201.82%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Internet of Things related jobs posted observed a growth rate of 52.71%, the number of active Internet of Things related job postings observed a growth rate of 10.35% and the number of Internet of Things related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 44.52%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Internet of Things related jobs posted stood at 128, the average number of Internet of Things related jobs closed stood at 94 and the average number of active Internet of Things related jobs stood at 451.
