The number of active job postings in Ukraine decreased by 8.39% MoM, and decreased by 10.2% since October 2023, reaching 1,408 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 257 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 28.21% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 386 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 9.6% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 48.91% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 23.56%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 20.06%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 3.52% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 8.57%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 392, number of jobs closed stood at 432 and number of active jobs stood at 1,529.
