The number of active Cloud related job postings in United Kingdom driven by Cloud decreased by 6.84% MoM, and decreased by 12.76% since October 2023, reaching 9,856 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 2,659 new Cloud related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 10.02% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 3,383 Cloud related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 5.48% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted decreased by 29.51% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed decreased by 7.19%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 11%, the number of active Cloud related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 4.45% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 2.46%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cloud related jobs posted stood at 3,228, the average number of Cloud related jobs closed stood at 3,557 and the average number of active Cloud related jobs stood at 10,734.
