The number of active Technology related job postings in United Kingdom driven by Technology decreased by 8.35% MoM, and decreased by 23.2% since October 2023, reaching 50,981 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 22,142 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 6.62% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 26,784 Technology related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 0.91% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 38.42% and the number of Technology related jobs closed decreased by 21.2%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 14.92%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 8.42% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 7.63%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Technology related jobs posted stood at 27,162, the average number of Technology related jobs closed stood at 30,522 and the average number of active Technology related jobs stood at 58,718.
