The number of active ESG related job postings in Vietnam driven by ESG decreased by 14.64% MoM, and decreased by 13.93% since October 2023, reaching 927 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 331 new ESG related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 25.28% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 490 ESG related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 1.24% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted decreased by 26.44% and the number of ESG related jobs closed increased by 6.29%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 9.73%, the number of active ESG related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 4.88% and the number of ESG related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 2.05%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of ESG related jobs posted stood at 428, the average number of ESG related jobs closed stood at 468 and the average number of active ESG related jobs stood at 1,054.
