The number of active job postings in the Metals and Mining sector of Austria decreased by 23.05% MoM, and decreased by 41.03% since October 2023, reaching 217 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 11 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 56% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 76 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 46.15% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 83.08% and the number of jobs closed increased by 26.67%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 44.69%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 16.14% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 8.2%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 32, number of jobs closed stood at 69 and number of active jobs stood at 294.
