The second largest surface and underground mine with an estimated 6.72 mmtpa of ROM, was the Sorgun Lignite Field Mine located in Yozgat, Turkey. The Sorgun Lignite Field Mine is owned by Karma Madencilik Insaat Sanayi ve Tic. A.S..
