The number of active job postings in the Metals and Mining sector of Germany decreased by 25.41% MoM, and decreased by 15.61% since October 2023, reaching 989 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 222 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 29.97% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 559 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 38.37% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 22.65% and the number of jobs closed increased by 90.14%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 8.2%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.5% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 23.89%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 345, number of jobs closed stood at 393 and number of active jobs stood at 1,225.
