The number of active Technology related job postings in the Metals and Mining sector of United States decreased by 8.61% MoM, and decreased by 14.31% since October 2023, reaching 2,462 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 731 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 4.07% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 963 Technology related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 24.9% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 24.72% and the number of Technology related jobs closed decreased by 1.33%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 9.03%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.02% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 0.45%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Technology related jobs posted stood at 797, number of Technology related jobs closed stood at 901 and number of active Technology related jobs stood at 2,683.
