The number of active Technology related job postings driven by Technology in the Oil and Gas sector of the Europe region decreased by 12.92% MoM, and decreased by 30.88% since October 2023, reaching 1,860 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 507 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 14.65% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 783 Technology related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 16.35% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 50.78% and the number of Technology related jobs closed decreased by 9.48%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 21.04%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 11.58% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 3.27%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Technology related jobs posted stood at 744, the average number of Technology related jobs closed stood at 910 and the average number of active Technology related jobs stood at 2,291.
