The number of active Cloud related job postings in the Global Oil and Gas Sector decreased by 5.14% MoM, and decreased by 18.16% since October 2023, reaching 793 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 216 new Cloud related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 6.09% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 259 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 22.92% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted decreased by 32.08% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed decreased by 30.19%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 12.1%, the number of active Cloud related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.46% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 11.29%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cloud related jobs posted stood at 273, number of Cloud related jobs closed stood at 330 and number of active Cloud related jobs stood at 885.
