The number of active Social related job postings in the Global Oil and Gas Sector decreased by 5.2% MoM, and decreased by 13.47% since October 2023, reaching 6,323 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 2,162 new Social related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 11.36% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 2,509 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 9.59% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Social related jobs posted decreased by 28.88% and the number of Social related jobs closed decreased by 20.4%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Social related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 10.74%, the number of active Social related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 4.71% and the number of Social related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 7.32%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Social related jobs posted stood at 2,709, number of Social related jobs closed stood at 2,983 and number of active Social related jobs stood at 6,826.
