The number of active job postings in the Oil and Gas sector of China decreased by 1.36% MoM, and decreased by 5.02% since October 2023, reaching 435 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 40 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 37.93% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 46 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 6.98% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted increased by 33.33% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 4.17%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a growth rate of 10.06%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 1.7% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 1.41%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 38, number of jobs closed stood at 49 and number of active jobs stood at 447.
