The number of active job postings in the Oil and Gas sector of Saudi Arabia decreased by 38.38% MoM, and decreased by 33.28% since October 2023, reaching 774 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 189 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 27.03% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 671 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 167.33% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 5.97% and the number of jobs closed increased by 242.35%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 2.03%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 12.62% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 50.71%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 254, number of jobs closed stood at 350 and number of active jobs stood at 1,109.
