The number of active Technology related job postings driven by Technology in the Power sector of the Asia-Pacific region increased by 2.51% MoM, and increased by 28.96% since October 2023, reaching 2,044 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 1,056 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 8.17% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 1,006 Technology related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 5.01% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted increased by 86.9% and the number of Technology related jobs closed decreased by 9.37%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a growth rate of 23.18%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a growth rate of 8.85% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 3.23%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Technology related jobs posted stood at 997, the average number of Technology related jobs closed stood at 1,019 and the average number of active Technology related jobs stood at 1,856.
