The number of active job postings in the Alternative Energy sector of Germany decreased by 2.7% MoM, and decreased by 18.65% since October 2023, reaching 2,591 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 543 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 4.02% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 615 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 37.31% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 47.23% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 31.97%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 19.19%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.65% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 12.05%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 716, number of jobs closed stood at 834 and number of active jobs stood at 2,890.
