The number of active Cybersecurity related job postings driven by Cybersecurity in the Power sector of the North America region decreased by 10.03% MoM, and decreased by 34.71% since October 2023, reaching 709 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 247 new Cybersecurity related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 37.99% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 326 Cybersecurity related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 10.44% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cybersecurity related jobs posted decreased by 43.09% and the number of Cybersecurity related jobs closed decreased by 36.82%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cybersecurity related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 17.13%, the number of active Cybersecurity related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 13.25% and the number of Cybersecurity related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 14.19%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cybersecurity related jobs posted stood at 287, the average number of Cybersecurity related jobs closed stood at 402 and the average number of active Cybersecurity related jobs stood at 889.
