The number of active Internet of Things related job postings driven by Internet of Things in the Power sector of the North America region decreased by 1.98% MoM, and decreased by 29.54% since October 2023, reaching 198 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 183 new Internet of Things related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 4.19% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 187 Internet of Things related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 3.31% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Internet of Things related jobs posted increased by 25.34% and the number of Internet of Things related jobs closed decreased by 58.17%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Internet of Things related jobs posted observed a growth rate of 7.82%, the number of active Internet of Things related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 11.01% and the number of Internet of Things related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 25.21%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Internet of Things related jobs posted stood at 180, the average number of Internet of Things related jobs closed stood at 276 and the average number of active Internet of Things related jobs stood at 218.
