The number of active Cybersecurity related job postings in the Global Power Sector decreased by 8.87% MoM, and decreased by 21.54% since October 2023, reaching 2,105 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 696 new Cybersecurity related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 9.26% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 901 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 2.28% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cybersecurity related jobs posted decreased by 19.82% and the number of Cybersecurity related jobs closed decreased by 27.4%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cybersecurity related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 7.1%, the number of active Cybersecurity related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 7.77% and the number of Cybersecurity related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 10.12%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cybersecurity related jobs posted stood at 779, number of Cybersecurity related jobs closed stood at 1,017 and number of active Cybersecurity related jobs stood at 2,423.
