Of the 190 deals, the deal secured between Banca Popolare di Sondrio; CaixaBank SA; Cassa Depositi e Prestiti SpA; Credit Agricole CIB SA; Intesa Sanpaolo SpA; UniCredit SpA and Ferrovie Dello Stato Italiane SpA, was the largest Debt Offering deal in the Europe Real Estate sector, which was valued at $2,982.9 million and was completed on June 25, 2021. The second-largest deal was between HSBC UK Bank Plc; NatWest Markets Securities Inc; Royal Bank of Canada and The Unite Group Plc, while the third-largest deal was between Aareal Bank AG; Natixis SA and Vitura SA. The HSBC UK Bank Plc; NatWest Markets Securities Inc; Royal Bank of Canada-The Unite Group Plc deal and the Aareal Bank AG; Natixis SA-Vitura SA deal were valued at $619.6 million and $591.5 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between UK Export Finance-John Wood Group Plc valued at $591.3 million, whereas the deal between Bank of America Corp; Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce; China Construction Bank Corp; Credit Agricole CIB SA; Fifth Third Bank; First Abu Dhabi Bank; HSBC Bank Plc; Lloyds Banking Group Plc; MUFG Bank Ltd; Royal Bank of Canada-Balfour Beatty Plc valued at $514.9 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $5,300.4 million and accounted for nearly 8.86% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. The Europe region accounted for 40.42% of the total Debt Offering deals done globally, and accounted for 1.25% of the total deal size on a global scale.
