The number of active Technology related job postings in the Retailing sector of Canada decreased by 6.07% MoM, and decreased by 35.81% since October 2023, reaching 2,461 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 619 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 45.75% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 778 Technology related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 63.23% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 61.22% and the number of Technology related jobs closed increased by 27.12%.
