The number of active Social related job postings in the Global Wholesale Sector decreased by 8.7% MoM, and decreased by 23.74% since October 2023, reaching 1,375 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 571 new Social related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 48.42% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 702 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 45.03% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Social related jobs posted decreased by 61.31% and the number of Social related jobs closed decreased by 55.4%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Social related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 27.14%, the number of active Social related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 8.64% and the number of Social related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 23.6%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Social related jobs posted stood at 1,154, number of Social related jobs closed stood at 1,286 and number of active Social related jobs stood at 1,590.
