North America: Cloud Related Job Trends in the Retailing Sector (October 2023 - January 2024)

The number of active Cloud related job postings driven by Cloud in the Retailing sector of the North America region decreased by 43.89% MoM, and decreased by 54.81% since October 2023, reaching 2,644 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 1,181 new Cloud related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 24.05% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 3,249 Cloud related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 59.81% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted decreased by 51.78% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed increased by 17.29%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 21.58%, the number of active Cloud related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 23.26% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 5.46%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cloud related jobs posted stood at 1,809, the average number of Cloud related jobs closed stood at 2,691 and the average number of active Cloud related jobs stood at 4,599.
