The number of active Technology related job postings driven by Technology in the Retailing sector of the South and Central America region decreased by 22.12% MoM, and decreased by 17.25% since October 2023, reaching 1,257 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 277 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 30.05% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 634 Technology related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 34.04% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 47.74% and the number of Technology related jobs closed increased by 41.83%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 19.45%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.12% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 12.36%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Technology related jobs posted stood at 460, the average number of Technology related jobs closed stood at 505 and the average number of active Technology related jobs stood at 1,520.
