The number of active job postings in the Retailing sector of Belgium decreased by 2.33% MoM, and decreased by 24.95% since October 2023, reaching 1,176 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 78 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 82.93% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 106 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 86.36% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 90.51% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 55.08%
