The number of active Technology related job postings driven by Technology in the Retailing sector of the Europe region decreased by 18.16% MoM, and decreased by 38.87% since October 2023, reaching 11,387 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 4,931 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 4.78% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 7,457 Technology related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 18.55% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 50.64% and the number of Technology related jobs closed decreased by 14.73%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 20.97%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 15.13% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 5.17%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Technology related jobs posted stood at 6,615, the average number of Technology related jobs closed stood at 8,114 and the average number of active Technology related jobs stood at 14,856.
