India: Cloud Related Job Trends in the Retailing Sector (October 2023 - January 2024)

The number of active Cloud related job postings in the Retailing sector of India decreased by 34.12% MoM, and decreased by 37.92% since October 2023, reaching 280 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 134 new Cloud related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 69.62% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 279 Cloud related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 158.33% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted decreased by 37.67% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed increased by 109.77%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 14.58%, the number of active Cloud related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 14.69% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 28.01%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cloud related jobs posted stood at 136, number of Cloud related jobs closed stood at 158 and number of active Cloud related jobs stood at 402.
