The number of active job postings in the Retailing sector of Italy decreased by 3.23% MoM, and decreased by 9.54% since October 2023, reaching 1,290 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 290 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 42.16% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 333 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 0.3% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 22.67% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 18.78%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 8.21%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 3.29% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 6.7%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 335, number of jobs closed stood at 378 and number of active jobs stood at 1,377.
