The number of active Technology related job postings driven by Technology in the Retailing sector of the Middle East and Africa region decreased by 30.59% MoM, and decreased by 39.12% since October 2023, reaching 565 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 284 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 6.77% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 533 Technology related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 71.94% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 36.04% and the number of Technology related jobs closed increased by 33.92%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 13.84%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 15.24% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 10.23%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Technology related jobs posted stood at 338, the average number of Technology related jobs closed stood at 417 and the average number of active Technology related jobs stood at 791.
