Poland: Job Trends in the Retailing Sector (October 2023 - January 2024)

The number of active job postings in the Retailing sector of Poland decreased by 33.82% MoM, and decreased by 19.64% since October 2023, reaching 904 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 479 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 9.11% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 941 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 72.03% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted increased by 43.41% and the number of jobs closed increased by 243.43%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a growth rate of 12.77%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 7.03% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 50.87%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 568, number of jobs closed stood at 608 and number of active jobs stood at 1,195.
