Szerencsejatek
Szerencsejatek, a lottery company has five active deals in handball as per GlobalData’s Sponsorship database. Szerencsejatek’s most recent deal was signed in August 2021, with Telekom Veszprem, a Hungarian handball club from Veszprém and is worth $0.08 million. The one-year partnership covers the 2021 to 2022 period. As part of the agreement, Szerencsejatek will serve as the official partner for Telekom Veszprem. The ten-year partnership worth $2.5 million was announced in July 2020, covering the 2020-21 to 2029-30 period. As part of the agreement, Sportradar will serve as the sponsor/partner. This deal is an extension of an existing deal.
Sportradar signed its largest deal in 2015, worth $4 million. They agreed on a deal to sponsor Germany’s Handball Bundesliga. The eight-year partnership will expire at the end of the 2022-23 season. Under the agreement, Sportradar will become the league’s official data partner. It will exclusively collect, archive and distribute official HBL data to both the media and betting industry as well as to the HBL itself and its teams. Data will be taken from the first and second division, the DHB Cup, and the annual Super Cup and All-Star Game. Sportradar will also develop an official HBL mobile app across smartphones and tablets.
Later in August 2017, it was confirmed that the HBL mobile app was ready to be launched. Sportradar will supply stats for the app, which will provide live news updates and statistics for fans. Users of the service, which is available across both iOS and Android platforms, will also benefit from live tracking of match events, commentary and a push notification function which fans can assign to selected matches or teams.
