Argentina: Job Trends in the Technology and Communications Sector (October 2023 - January 2024)

The number of active job postings in the Technology and Communications sector of Argentina decreased by 29.09% MoM, and decreased by 35.68% since October 2023, reaching 1,114 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 535 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 20.22% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 992 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 6.42% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 59.38% and the number of jobs closed increased by 9.61%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 25.94%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 13.68% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 3.11%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 826, number of jobs closed stood at 878 and number of active jobs stood at 1,650.
