The second-largest deal was between 5Y Capital; Citic Private Equity Funds Management Co Ltd; Gaorong Capital; GL Ventures; Morningside Ventures; Sequoia Capital China; Temasek Holdings (HK) Limited and XVERSE, while the third-largest deal was between CPE Yuanfeng; Gimpo Ventures; Hillhouse Ventures; Hongtai Fund; Sequoia Capital China; Weilai Capital; Yunfeng Fund L.P and Nreal Technology Co Ltd. The 5Y Capital; Citic Private Equity Funds Management Co Ltd; Gaorong Capital; GL Ventures; Morningside Ventures; Sequoia Capital China; Temasek Holdings (HK) Limited-XVERSE deal and the CPE Yuanfeng; Gimpo Ventures; Hillhouse Ventures; Hongtai Fund; Sequoia Capital China; Weilai Capital; Yunfeng Fund L.P-Nreal Technology Co Ltd deal were valued at $120.0 million and $100.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Paratus Investment-VA Corporation valued at $81.0 million, whereas the deal between Alibaba Group Holding Ltd-Nreal Technology Co Ltd valued at $60.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $601.0 million and accounted for nearly 40.37% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. The Asia-Pacific region accounted for 20.23% of the total Private Equity/Venture Financing deals done globally, and accounted for 29.89% of the total deal size on a global scale.
