Asia-Pacific: Job Trends in the Gambling Sector (October 2023 - January 2024)

The number of active job postings in the Gambling sector of the Asia-Pacific region increased by 1.53% MoM, and decreased by 15.29% since October 2023, reaching 266 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 33 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 50% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 29 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 52.46% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 36.54% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 53.97%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 14.06%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.38% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 22.79%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 41, number of jobs closed stood at 56 and number of active jobs stood at 285.
