The number of active Technology related job postings driven by Technology in the Technology and Communications sector of the Asia-Pacific region decreased by 15.85% MoM, and decreased by 18.06% since October 2023, reaching 75,884 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 26,166 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 23.49% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 40,458 Technology related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 35.13% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 13.79% and the number of Technology related jobs closed increased by 56.85%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 4.83%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.42% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 16.19%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Technology related jobs posted stood at 29,915, the average number of Technology related jobs closed stood at 32,956 and the average number of active Technology related jobs stood at 86,146.
