The number of active ESG related job postings in the Technology and Communications sector of Germany decreased by 12.29% MoM, and decreased by 17.15% since October 2023, reaching 2,019 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 535 new ESG related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 13.57% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 818 ESG related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 3.28% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted decreased by 31.93% and the number of ESG related jobs closed increased by 24.7%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 12.03%, the number of active ESG related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.08% and the number of ESG related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 7.63%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of ESG related jobs posted stood at 694, number of ESG related jobs closed stood at 766 and number of active ESG related jobs stood at 2,308.
