Global: Cloud Related Job Trends in the Media Sector (October 2023 - January 2024)

The number of active Cloud related job postings in the Global Media Sector decreased by 7.05% MoM, and decreased by 14.82% since October 2023, reaching 4,787 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 1,232 new Cloud related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 13.6% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 1,595 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 15.74% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted decreased by 39.31% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed decreased by 25.57%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 15.33%, the number of active Cloud related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.21% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 9.38%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cloud related jobs posted stood at 1,675, number of Cloud related jobs closed stood at 1,911 and number of active Cloud related jobs stood at 5,293.
