The number of active Cloud related job postings in the Global Technology and Communications Sector decreased by 10.77% MoM, and decreased by 11.78% since October 2023, reaching 128,725 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 38,790 new Cloud related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 15.25% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 54,323 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 11.29% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted decreased by 20.63% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed increased by 23.37%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 7.41%, the number of active Cloud related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 4.09% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 7.25%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cloud related jobs posted stood at 45,000, number of Cloud related jobs closed stood at 48,087 and number of active Cloud related jobs stood at 141,550.
