The number of active Cybersecurity related job postings in the Global Technology and Communications Sector decreased by 7.23% MoM, and decreased by 15.43% since October 2023, reaching 39,120 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 11,539 new Cybersecurity related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 4.83% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 14,588 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 8.59% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cybersecurity related jobs posted decreased by 27.32% and the number of Cybersecurity related jobs closed increased by 1.52%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cybersecurity related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 10.09%, the number of active Cybersecurity related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.43% and the number of Cybersecurity related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 0.5%.
